MAO CANDIDATE.

It all begins with a local preliminary - and the decision to try. Embarking on my sixth year of competing at Miss Missouri, I have been forever changed, shaped, and impacted by the Miss America Organization.

Being a Missouri girl, born and raised, is an important part of who I am. Being Miss Branson is a dream come true.

Style.

I would define my style as edgy, classic, and evolving, and the Miss America Organization has provided me an outlet to experiment with fashion (my favorite!!) and to try new styles.

Service.

As a goodwill ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and specifically the local CMNH-affiliate (MU Women and Children’s Hospital), I raise funds and awareness for the life-saving work of CMN Hospitals. From radio interviews to fundraisers, I take my role as a former Miracle Family very seriously and received the Miracle Maker award in 2021.

Other causes of interest include Girls on the Run, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), career and technical student organizations, March of Dimes, and anything related to food insecurity. My favorite partners are The Letter Project, the Deaton Institute for University Leadership in International Development, and Empower Missouri.

I regularly volunteer over 450 hours per year to charitable and philanthropic causes and received the Miss America Community Service Award for the state of Missouri in 2018.

Scholarship.

Through the Miss America Organization, I have earned over $18,000 (and counting!) in scholarship dollars to fund my undergraduate and graduate education. Because of scholarships, I graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Science and Agricultural Journalism debt-free in 2020, and am pursuing my MBA program at Washington University in St. Louis. As one of triplets, I knew the only way to afford college was through scholarships and I’m grateful to the many community and civic organizations that provided those opportunities to me.

Success.

I’ve been honored to receive a Talent preliminary award and Onstage Interview preliminary award during the Miss Missouri competition week. Most recently, I finished 3rd runner-up to Miss Missouri 2022 and received $5,500 in scholarship money. On and off-stage, I’ve become a better woman through Miss America, and the ways it champions style, service, scholarship, and success for young women nationwide.

Follow my journey to Miss America.
